• BS5 Encore, Beolink passive/inbuilt speakers? Trip, do you know?

I was wondering if it will be possible to use the Encore as a master (coupled to a NAS-drive), and have two Beovox2s with the beolink passive to tap into that? Will it be possible without the Masterlink Gateway? If it's not possible, I gather I could continue to use the Squeezeboxes. But it would be nice if it could be controlled with a beotime

  • Re: Music on B&O website

It sounds like something from the hands of Niels Lan Doky somehow.
Is Caller Identification for incomming calls now implemented?
Does any other phone in your home display Caller ID? I ask, because you need to be sure that A) you have that service from your phone company, and B) that the people calling actually "broadcast" the number.

  • Re: B&O going 3D - good or bad idea ?

I haven't watched Alice in Wonderland, nor Avatar. Isn't Avatar 100 percent CGI?
WOW Electrified, that is one nice television to buy. BV10-32 definately my ALL TIME FAVOURITE!!!
Hehe, it's just a telly. However, I do consider it the nicest of the ugly abominations that is a telly. It has pretty good audio for speech too, which was something I went looking for.

Maybe this will sound like I'm a technophobe, but so be it. As a general rule, I don't like tv's. I just moved on from a 14" (!!!) 4:3 CRT that I still thought was too much of a piece of a furniture. I have now bought the BV10-32" and screen size wise it's pretty good. I don't like huge tellies, and I don't like 3D

  • Re: loudspeakers
we can say the ALT-unit was delibaretely placed on top giving the speaker an identity (face like)+ embedding the radial LED light
The actual reason for placing a tweeter at the top is that that is where it's closest to the ears. High frequencies are much more directional than lower frequencies and although
It could be argued that lots of B&O product's have movement that is either superfluous or gimmicky - however others will argue that these movements provide a "wow" factor - the lifting stand of the BV4 85/103 springs to mind as a good example. It's a personal opinion.
No, it's not simply
