Does anyone remember the factory volume preset for the Beocenter 2500? I thought it was 40, but 40 sounds too quiet... Could it be 50? Thanks!

I have an extra Beo4 and Beolink 1000 and both get leaking batteries on a regular basis, usually after a couple years. I only use the highest quality batteries but they leak anyway. On the Beo4, its the bottom battery that leaks, on the BL1000, it's the center battery. Any way to prevent this? Is there a rule of thumb for this, like if the remote

Some new info: I was wondering if this could be an electronics issue, since the FF, PLAY, and REW keys do not work at all, only TAPE -- I started the deck with no tape in the well. It will run for about 10-16 seconds then stops. If I started it again and pressed on the tape sensor switch (middle one, angle shaped, tells the unit that a tape is loaded

On my BC2500, when I stick in a tape, the unit will play for 1-2 seconds then stops. If I press TAPE again it will play for another 1-2 seconds, then stops. The transport controls (ff, rew, step, play, direct track selection) do not engage at all. The transport will work continuously however if there is no tape in the compartment Is this another belt

I was testing out 2 cd players on my BS7000 through in AUX in jack with the RCA adapter. One was a Nak OMS-1A the other a Proceed CDP. In both cases the sound level was noticably higher than the output of the CD7000 and my CD5500. I was doing some taping of the Proceed, and on the Beocord 7000, where I'd normally set the recording level to around

Hello, all. The Beo4 and Beolink7000 have a "CD2" option. I don't know if this is for a link room, or some future option for the master system, etc... But, is there a way to actually hook up a second cd player to the BS6500/7000 under a cd2 name? Thanks in advance!
