Did you try using different HDMI cables? I had to go through two different cables on my own BV7-55 before fixing the HDMI audio issue for good.

I'm not a fan of AppleTV. I had the first generation model and replaced it with the Mini after it erased itself one day without warning. All of my movies are 1080P and 720P HD content, but for streaming music, it would be a sensible solution - especially for the price. I'll consider it. Thanks for the suggestion!

I am considering purchasing a second BeoVision 7 (40" 3D) for the bed room and would like to somehow configure this with a BeoSound 5 Encore. Make sure you get your PIN code from the dealer before you take delivery of the TV. This way, if it happens over the weekend, you dont get stuck with a pretty paperweight in the middle of your living room that you can't view anything on for several days. That happened to me. All is well now, however!

I'm glad I got my BeoVision 7-55 purchase out of the way this year! I only wish I had gotten a pair of BeoLab 5 speakers and a BeoSound 5 Encore before the increase. :-(

Yes, that would be correct. No space is needed.
