Hi, Believe me, they sound as good as they look! I've only connected to B&O kit, but you can definitely connect to non-B&O using the phono jack. Unless I'm mistaken (and there are far more experienced users of this forum than myself), you need to connect left channel from the audio source to one Beolab 6000 and right channel to the other

Graham, Many, many thanks. Wish my local B&O service centre had your expertise. (And I'll go back to not bothering to RTFM). Rob

Once again I have to call on your expertise - I thank you in advance. I purchased a Beolink Passive and, for once, read the manual. So, following the instructions therein I've: 1/. Connected the Beolink Passive to the BeoSound 3000 using a Masterlink cable (new, from the fine folks at Sounds Heavenly). The manual states that I should use Masterlink

My thoughts exactly, Simon! In fact, you've touched on a very delicate subject, as our spare room is currently half-full of B&O cartons... Rob

JOB LOT B&O It's worth it for the Beomaster 1200s and Beogram 1200s alone! Rob

Thanks Mika, however I won't be going down this path - as you say it's a silly chain of amps to put together with no discernible benefit. Better to just use an non-RIAA turntable. The reason why I bought the 4500 is precisely because it has the RIAA and will plug directly into modern B&O systems, so it's going to stay connected to the

Thank you for your answers. My main query was regarding the IR Eye, as in some references it almost sounded like it was required to configure the Beolink as it was designed for remote installation and not in the same room as the master unit. If there's an Idiot's Guide To Beolink Converters out there with "if you want to do this , then

Hi, I'm sure these questions have been asked many times, but I can't seem to find definitive answers. I have a BeoSound 3000 with BL (active) 6000 speakers and would like to add a couple of Beovox passive speakers to the rear of the same room. I can do this with my BeoCenter 9500 as it has both Powerlink and passive speaker ports (and sounds
