Hey First of all thanks for the quick replies! I bought the Beomaster from Ebay and the seller 'told' me this was a Beomaster 2400 in it's 'original state'. Either he lied or the RIAA went broken during transport. Is there a way to check if the RIAA is present? (PS: the beogram connected to another recent amplifier plays normal)

Yip the Beogram 4004 is connected to the phono input! I also tried the tape input, but again the same problem. Wannes

Dear all I wondered if any of you has an answer for this small problem: When I play my records on my Beogram4004 connected to the Beomaster 2400 (with BeovoxS45) I can only slightly hear the music out of my speakers with the volume set at maximum. The radio, in contrary, of the beomaster 2400 can be heared very well at a normal level of the volume?
