I don't doubt your integrity Martin. I think you're doing a great job offering people to help and repair their precious B&O machines. I also understand that this is your business to sell/repair this stuff and therefore can't share everything you know (I don't mean you're not willing to help members out with questions and repairs

You're probably right of course, but as I said, I have no strange behavour (even the tuning indicator is working fine) of the machine and the light intensity is simular to what I remembered as it should be. I don't use the 2400 on a daily bases, so I just needed a cheap quick fix and it just did the trick for me anyway, maybe I'm just lucky

Nah, I don't think there will be high demand of parts, because most parts are still ok, but just needs new lubricant to "unstuck" or make it move again. Stylusses are a bigger issue, but there are enough compagnies that can upgrade or renew the current stylusses and tips. Even original styluses can be bought, but they cost a lot of money

Laatst wat vonkjes gehad bij de voeding (los geraakt soldeerwerk) van mijn Beomaster 8000. Dit opgelost, maar na de stekker er weer in gedaan te hebben komen er direct allemaal 8-en in het venster te staan die geleidelijk aan hier en daar doven. Ook is hij niet meer aan te zetten. betekent dit dat mijn processor een oplawaai heeft gekregen en dus afgeschreven

Er zijn nog genoeg zaakjes in NL die oude meuk spullen verkopen, juist voor de liefhebbers die oude apparatuur gebruiken en hun nieuwe spul erop aan willen sluiten. Zo'n zaakje is Radio Beurs Rhee in Breda (waar ik ook woon). Het kan heel soms wat soldeer werk zijn, maar vaak hebben ze alles liggen wat ik net nodig heb.
