Sören, I really like your avatar.

I think a black plastic strip would be the solution because the bench will be painted in two colors . Black and dark gray. Or a thin strip of wood that is glued with wood dowels .

That looks very good. It is a good solution. I thought about putting transparent plastic on the edge. Johnny

Thanks for the tip . Epoxy is probably a good choice. I will paint the bench, as a suggestion , in two colors. Black and dark gray. Silver Metallic 's not my favorite color.

There were many good suggestions. You seem to be on the same track . Now I have many good suggestions to consider. The bench will be renovated this summer and then the bench will have a different color. It will be painted in black. Thanks

Hi Blackrix, Thank you for your responding. Yes , that's probably a good idea. How about my suggestion ?

My attyca 1 is in need of renovation. The bench has a scratched edge . Has anyone tried to restoring an attyca bench with a scratched edge ? Do you have any good ideas to restore the edge ? I'm thinking of putting an angled sheet of brushed aluminum or stainless steel.

See if the timer is activated. It might be the problem . You disable it by pressing the "step program" and " mute" in a few seconds.
