    I live in the UK and just got a Virgin TiVo which I'm trying to get my BV8-40 to control. My local B&O rep told me the Virgin TiVo box is not yet supported. My BV8 was bought in Australia, which is another layer of complexity. It has a PUC option called G. TiVo - which seemed to surprise my B&O rep in London. However the G. TiVo option doesn't

    What is the point of making a flat TV? It's boring. They should embrace the third dimension. Is it so it can hang on a wall? If I saw a TV on the wall I'd ask 'who is this peasant and why doesn't he have any art?' Suitable for cashed-up-bogans, but inferior.

    Dear all, I'm thinking of getting the stand for my BV8-40. Has anyone seen this set up? I have seen the official pictures obviously, but it is difficult to get much of a sense from these. From the pictures, it looks a little bit crude. Certainly far less svelte than the rakish stand for the smaller models. I can't tell what the finish is, but

  • Beovision 8-40 and other components

    Hi all, I recently bought a Beovision 8-40. I would like to plug an Apple TV, an old Sony DVD player and a Nintendo Wii into it, but am not sure which inputs I should be using. I figure the Apple TV should go into one of the HDMI inputs. I think the Wii and DVD must both be candidates for component - but I only have one component input. What's the
