Looks great Dario :) My Beolab 5000 isn't serviced either, but still sounds great. I think it's testament to how well built and designed they are that they can survive 40 odd years into the future and still function to a high standard!
thanks j0hn, right this amps are very well build, not comparable
The beolab 5000 is one of the favorite items of vintage beo lovers. Its sound quality is outstanding. Owners told me so, I do not own this amplifier, its a pity... It is extremely rare and comparatively expensive. It was expensive then: 1995 Deutsche Mark in 1969! How many pounds might that had been...? Congratulations
truth! but i'm not really the radio listener... ;-) the next step is to restore my beolab. not by myself, because i'm not the expert. i've refurbished only my beovoxes

thanks stefan, for sharing your experience and your setup... definitly, it isn't only digitalizing vinyl, it is, as you wrote, a lot of fun. ;-) maybe i check out the features of garage band to create my own sound. btw. i've found the right tool: http://www.apogeedigital.com/products/duet.php apogee create also nice studio-stuff. would you share
Here it is. Be it Zenith or Valjoux(ETA) only from 93 did Rolex make an effort to make be less reliant on other companies...
btw zenith is a manufactured movement and it is not comparable with a valjoux eta... some rolex daytona's with zenith movement are sought after by collectors... e.g. paul newman daytona
I don't have opportunity to listen every b&o amplifier in my country (Serbia),but with help of members here I believe that I will make good decision AND decision is beomaster 5500 and beogram 5500.
a good decision. i like the style of the beosystem 5500... the sound would be also nice. ;-) what are
