Ah yes, an interesting time delivering a message. All worked out well for you though. Delighted that you have been able to rise Phoenix-like from the trials and tribulations of B & O retailing in the North West. Shopping in B & Q (not B & O) this morning, they had a Phil Collins track playing. Guess what that made me think of!!! Steve

My father-in-law says that Mr Stonk is a very nice guy and thanks for the £50 and taking away the Avant. I set up his new Panasonic 37" LCD and can confirm that on terrestial digital the picture is crap. About as far removed from a B & O picture, even on a 10 year old Avan, as you could get. On Sky HD though it is pretty good. Can't

Looks like Chris is deferring to Stonk on the very sensible basis of proximity so if Stonk wants to confirm collection around Wednesday next week then everyone is happy. Steve

It is about 9 or 10 years old. It is Real Flat. Princes Risborough is near High Wycombe, but posher. Steve

My father-in-law is getting an HD TV to replace his faithful Avant. John Lewis want £9 to take it away but wouldn't it be much nicer for someone who would appreciate it to collect it from Princes Risborough and maybe drop him £50. It works very well apart from the deck. No Beo4 as he needs to keep that for his Ouverture. Any takers?

I don't think that Bang & Olufsen have any intention, or desire, to gain any level of control of this site. The recognition is in the influence that the site has amongst members and the value of developing a stronger relationship with a concentrated group of customers. Whatever the agreement reached with Lee on payment, it will surely be cheaper

I got mine last week to replace a very good Avant (except that letterbox films were too small from our normal seating position). Haven't large LCDs come on well in the last year? Of course I can't get to watch anything now as the children have the PS3 permantly connected so that they can experience the horrors of war without leaving the comfort
