Mmm.... should have checked the post before writing a post. Letter detailing the offer was in the mail last night.

  • Re: Beocom 6000 telephone - No Signal

I'm guessing you have checked that the phone line itself is functioning correctly? I've had the same error appear on my BeoCom 6000 only to discover there's nothing wrong with the phone or base, rather the problem was with the line into the house. Cheers, Matthew
OK, so when you say "selected from screen" do you mean from the Beo5 or a TV ?
From the Beo5 remote. To achieve this, you'll most likely need to program it yourself as I have done.
Does the BS3200 come with a remote a standard (Beo4)?
Yes - it normally comes
Thanks for the reply, just the sort of info I was after. As I suspected storing music on the B&O hard disk would be hard to find etc, you have to manually name each CD?
You're welcome Tony. Whilst navigating stored music on the BS3200 hard disk is not easy, I think it depends on your listening habits as
My thoughts are :- Beosound 3200 with Beolab 6000 speakers We have this system and for us it works very well. We currently have about 200 CD's so the hard disk capacity of the BS3200 at 400 is more than enough. It means you don't have to have a PC connected to the system so there's no booting up, just On/Off

  • Re: Flash your B&O!
Two types of plates are used: a) in the main rooms for the power and powerlink cable they used an RF aerial plate, but remove the the aerial so there was just a round hole through which they could then thread the cables b) in Cliff's study where his Macs are, they used a plate that also had an ethernet socket [

Hi Elephant, Any chance of getting a close up pic, or description, of how Cliff's cables for the BL8000's (i.e. mains and PL) go into the wall plates? It looks like they pass through, rather than plug into any sockets on the wall plates? If you could let me know the method used, I would be most grateful. Thanks. Matthew

Peter, Thanks for that info re: running your cables out through the top of the bracket. When I was mucking around with the BL3500 and cables on the weekend, this looked like the best way to go in terms of best using the space available. It's good to hear someone has successfully gone down this path. If you have time and are able to grab a picture
