Hi, Try selecting SHIFT with LIST. Then 9 0 3 6 9. Don't press GO. Yes, it should work with a BS3000. Works on my BS3200. Good luck! Cheers, Matthew

Hi, I use a 238 to control an LG DVD player and Apple TV2 in a hidden installation via a Beo5. I wired up the external IR eye sensor, connected to the 238, myself. The sensor receives B&O commands from the Beo5 and sends them to the hidden 238. The sensor sits behind a BS3200 sitting on the cabinet top, so it can't be seen either. The Beo5 also

During my install I did last year (Passive amp with IR eye) I was in the same position you're now in with a shortage of about 2m. I had some spare cable from another unused IR eye that I simply soldered in to make the extension. I was a bit worried about how it would go, but it has been working just fine for the last 12 months or so (fingers crossed
It IS simple with a Beo 5 or 6 but the perfect combination: Lintronic + Beo 5 or Beo 6
Agree with TWG. If you're able to go down this path (Lintronic + Beo5/6) you will end up with possibly the most flexible solution. You'll be able to program the Beo5/6 to control 3rd party products (by capturing commands

Hello Heribert, Are your CAT5e and CAT6 cables used in your masterlink network shielded or un-shielded? Regards, Matthew
Thank you very much.
You're welcome
Now I know what to wish for this christmas from myself
Provided you understand the path to having your Beo5/6 control 3rd party products directly (and it is a bit involved - but you can find everything you need to know on the forums

Hi Toubro, Yes - you can directly control the Apple TV and your PS3's IR-to-Blue-Tooth converter with your Beo5. You will, of course, need the XML files for the commands for each of these devices, along with the Beo5 Config tool to set up your Beo5 to control them. Cheers, Matthew

Rather than use ML junction boxes - requiring cutting, stripping and punching down of cable - I chose to use the four port ML junction boxes from OneRemote in our ML install (which includes a BL3500). These are simple 'plug and play' boxes that accept ML plugs. I use two of them in the house that form ML network 'node' points. As mentioned

Is there an easy way to establish what SW version the Beocom 5 is running?
