correct me if i'm wrong, but i believe the samsung and sony panels are one and the same (manufactured in the one plant). you read my mind - the kuro would have just blown anything else to bits! imagine the b&o design + audio and the kuro panels. although the pioneer lcd panels and future plasma panels will be made by panasonic. but i agree with

if you don't mind me asking, which stores did you perform the tests at? I viewed the BV7-40 AND the BV8-40 on Friday at the CBD store (Collins St) and they were both very impressive. The 7-40 had a blu ray playing and the image looked sharp and good (not overly sharp). Granted I did not do the extensive study you have performed, but I didn't

having my main phone point sandwiched between the microwave and the wireless router, i wanted a corded phone and the beocom 1401 was well priced and gave me an excuse to increase the count of B&O toys :) i am contemplating getting the DIN to 3.5mm cable ($20) to connect my ipod/iphone. but ripped CDs would be a problem from what i gather. the kuro's

not specifically with beo stuff but in my dad's house, I have successfully setup a wireless network across 3 floors. apple airport extreme at main phone/modem point then install airport express along the way to "bridge" the wireless network. it was the most cost efficient and aesthetically pleasing way to do it. you should be able to get

from what i've seen and read (as a beovirgin ) - not just the products but the s/w needs to be constantly updated for new changes/technology that can be done with firmware updates. for this reason, ethernet port in all products or being able to update with beolink wireless 1

i've always been fascinated (lusted more like it) with the Beosound 9000 but never built up enough courage to ever check out a B&O store or catalogue.... now that i've my own place and enough "disposable" income - i'm starting from small to big :) beocom 6000 & beocom 1401. beosound 1 is next on the list, just deciding
