  • Re: Beovision 7 + Playstation 3

Our dealer recommended and installed a NYKO (remote and dongle set up), which means we can use the Beo5 remote to control the PS3. It works perfectly - the only thing is you have to turn the PS3 on manually. That is never a problem though as it turns on automatically whenever a DVD is loaded! You can turn off the ps3 WITH the BEO5 remote (and therefore

  • Re: BeoVision 10-40 and BeoCom 5 on B&O mainsite

Terrific. Lovely photos. BUT.... is it just me, or should B&O correct spelling mistakes BEFORE uploaded to the website? The BV10 text describing the BV10 contained a few spelling mistakes - so I wrote to them, because I did not want to forward the link to a friend of mine (who may well buy this TV) until the spelling errors had been corrected. Also

  • Re: BEOVISION 10

Great to see the BV10 on the website! Just one thing though, how can it be that B&O designs this amazing stuff, but manages to be so amateur when launching it? As if the launch photos were not bad enough (still cannot believe how terrible), the text to describe the BV10 on the B&O website has spelling mistakes!! That kind of lack of attention

  • Re: Building New Product Anticipation: B&O vs Apple

Interesting thoughts Graham. I suppose B&O do a pretty good job of stoking up interest, but I'd have to say that Apple does it better. The reason I say that is I remember, when living near Apple's Regent St store, how hard it would be just to get in when they opened up the store sometimes - because there would be so many people queing to

  • B&O's ELECTRIC CURTAINS

Hi guys When I turn on our Beovision 8 40 the electric curtains do their thing and the sound creeps up. Great! EXCEPT, unlike the other Beovisions with the curtains, it doesnt do this while the picture/sound is there - it does it before! So in other words, the sound creeps up while there is NO SOUND and the curtains part to reveal NOT, the picture,

  • Re: Question to BV7 owners from a BV8 40 owner...

Thank you Razlaw, Stefan, Nicky, Whlerz and Piet for helping out! Much appreciated. I'll look into the customer service menu, and will try to delay the curtains long enough for the picture. I don't have a sky box, I am just using B&O's built-in DVB module for the freeview channels - which is why I presumed it would all have been timed

  • Question to BV7 owners from a BV8 40 owner...

We all love B&O's electronic curtains, right? Well it is one of the reasons I was happy to get the BV8 40, cos it had the curtains- that bit of B&O magic! However... when you turn the TV on, the curtains open to a picture of a timer with a grey background. It takes another 45 seconds before that image turns to normal TV pictures. In my opinion
