Btw, I did 4 pairs Penta's (32 midrangers) and they all sound great! Not to mention all the CX's....

I wonder why I don't read anything about shimming methods on Audiofriends and Goodhifi's website and maybe others as well. Have been watching a video on Youtube to see what shimming cones exactly means! Very interesting for these large drivers, still I'm not convinced using this method on small drivers like CX50/100's, Penta's midrangers

You need to remove part of the aluminium strip at both sides. Behind that there are 2 screws. Be carefull though, the plastic cover at that area can easily break.
