i live in perth, personally i would contact the bang & olufsen store in melbourne and find their service centre and ask to have it converted to 240v im sure it would be a case of placing a new transformer in it. i think that doing it yourself is a recipie for disaster. lol karl

im not sure about the rest, but i would take the stylus out and keep it in a safe place while in transit. cheers karl

hello, i am restoring an old beogram 1203, and i was wondering if anyone has any tips, i think the motor is where i will need to focus the attention, i.e. opening it up and ultrasonicly cleaning the ballbarings then reassembling it.. has anyone done this before? i collect b&o units, and so far i have a beomaster 2400 and commander etc speakers and
