  • Re: Redline 60 speaker stand adjustment screw

It seems to be easily removed. Thank you very much!

  • Redline 60 speaker stand adjustment screw

Anyone else uses the older floor stands for the Redline range (the brown ones)? I thought it was strange that the speakers always point downwards (looks ugly too) but then I got the manual and it shows an adjustment screw. But mine is missing. I'd like to get a replacement but I don't know which kind of screw will fit since the manual isn't

  • Re: faulty MMC-2?

Thank you all for your replies! Do you think this is my girlfriend's problem or the seller's (who claimed to include one year warranty)? I don't think the seller has checked the system (it was a complete Beosystem 6500) properly before selling it, because the mute relay in the Beomaster seems broken (sound in right speaker has to be 'pushed

  • faulty MMC-2?

Hi! My girlfriend recently bought a second hand Beogram 6500 with an MMC-2 included. The MMC-2 seemed to work when the seller demonstrated it (though he only had one record in very poor condition), but now at home the sound is all distorted. When I take a closer look, the stylus looks a bit strange compared to other MMC styluses I've seen; the angle

Ok, so I checked with my local Bang dealer, and sadly, the modification kit is no longer available - at least not in the Nordic countries. A strange thing happened by the way; I replugged the speaker today to try out my newly aquired Beogram CD 4500 (birthday gift from wonderful and understanding girlfriend), and it now seems to work! Question is for

@ birgerbum: I don't know the exact problem yet. I have to open it up first. But if it happens to be one of the speaker units, where are you located?

So it is possible to remove them. Thanks!

Thank you both for your quick answers! Medogsfat, you're right - I can hear something's loose inside. Have to go check with my local dealer about that modification. About the straps: question is if they are supposed to break if you just open the cabinet (like some kind of 'warranty void'), or if there is a chance to remove them in one

  • RL60 6503

Hello. I love my white 'Star Wars' RL60 speakers, but the other day I noticed one of them won't take much bass before distorting the sound in a very ugly way (too much 70s reggae I suppose). I want to take a look at it but I'm worried about the straps. If I open the speaker, will I need to replace them or can I just remove them and put
