I have a Grado Gold and it is sooooooo smooth and the sound soooo defined! It doesn't look too bad on the 4002 IMO. If its an issue of preserving the tonearm as original, perhaps cannibalize a junker and keep an original arm assembly in case you want to change it back. The rule for a Beogram is to have 3. One to use, one in the shop, and the last

I have a similar situation: an MMC1 and a SMMC1. I find the SMMC to be rather edgy and harsh in comparison. I thought it was my imagination.

Hi muntbeo, and thanks for your input . Where do I put this in the scheme of things? Is it connected to the Airport connected to the relay connected to the BL2? Is this something I can order online? I'd like to see your setup. Thanks and regards. -Kevin

I talked to Alex at B&O Union Square (really nice fellow and he remembered me from a couple years back). He is searching the system for one and to make matters more difficult, the item # might have changed. He said it would take about 3 weeks. -KL

Hi Russ. Thanks so much for letting me know. My prior Beolab 2 was set up conventionally with other B&O products and was not set up with an Airport as I plan to do now. I'm not up on the technology, but I would keep the BS9000 purely from an aesthetic point. The 9000 is the flagship of B&O design. Just my opinion. Cheers.

I bought a BeoLab 2 and its in the mail. I'm so excited. I had one a couple years ago, sold it, and regretted selling it ever since. Its going to be hooked up with a pair of BeoLab 3s. Connected to them is an Airport Express streaming iTunes. I had to use a headset volume control to attenuate the signal otherwise the Airport will blow the speakers

Hi. The BeoSystem 3 does give you possibilities for expansion and naturally compliments what you have. I don't know how expensive the BeoSystem 3 is but I have a Krell HTS3 processor. I picked one up on eBay for $1500 US and it listed for $8000 US when it was brand new If such is the case, Din to RCA cables would be needed. The remote is a Harmony
