There is possibility for me to buy very good DAC (Beyond Frontiers Audio puts it in their 10.000€ amplifier so I guess sound is top class) I already have beomaster 5500 with MCP and beogram 5000.I would like to have PC with it's output through that DAC,but to be remotely controlled (Beo4?). Most of my music is FLAC and computers are networked

Oh well I forgot to thank you and to say that I bought Beomaster 5500 and Turntable 5000 (I just love the way it looks together).Next thing is CD5500. I'm happy with sound and look,so quest for CD5500 continuing and new stylus for turntable...I will probably buy soundsmith's smmc4.

I personally like look of CDX but it have low WAF (wife acceptance factor).Wife think it looks like our old Gorenje Koerting turntable-tape-radio-amplifier music center but she also think that 5500 looks like our old Kenwood (first slim amplifier with commands hidden behind aluminum doors)and that's good,so I think that 5500 will pass smoothly

I'm totally thrilled by B&O design, and my favorite is beosystem 5000,5500,6500,7000.I am owner of beovox s80.2, and when I bought them there was some 2.300€ and 3.500€ speakers (don't know what brand) and when I heard Beovox I thought they will be at least 5.000€ since I didn't know what was prices of used beovoxes. • Re: Beovox s80.2 and other speakers from mid 80's

Just in a case that you care, some drivers in my boxes were connected out of phase (mid frequency driver) so there was much canceling in those boxes since there is big overlap between 8" and 3" speaker and since they were out of phase almost whole spectar missed. Also there was some cancelation between mid and hi frequency speaker and that's

I have these speakers few months and first thing I did was to measure them (I used smaart6) and one thing that I heard first and then confirm in measurements is that my speakers have boost in upper frequency section and big hole in mid bass part.It is surprisingly good in 40hz region tho. My question is:are B&O amplifiers flat or do they have some
