You do not need to use a Passive kit at all. A much cheaper solution is to use something like a Parasound Z Amp which can be set to stereo or bridged mono for a centre channel. All you need is a Powerlink to Phono cable which your dealer or someone like Steve @ Sounds Heavenly can make . I have recently used these for a couple of BeoSound 5 installs

Hi Guys, Does anyone know whether if you connect a BeoSound 8 to an Apple Airport Express whether it can be controlled by the BeoSound 8 remote? In other words if it was connected by USB can it be controlled like a PC?

Yes the two are connected in the MasterLink system, the Powerlink is from the BeoLab 4000's to the BeoSound 4.

I know there is the apple tv obviously, a couple of TVIX boxes, Kaleidescape, the Sony network media player and a couple of others I think but I think this would be a great one as it has such a nice interface.

There is no B&O TV in the room with the BeoSound 4 and I put in A.Opt 6 but if I choose n.music nothing happens. There are two link rooms with passive kits and if you select N.Music in them with the BeoSound 4 connected they turn on then off instantly. Without it connected it works perfectly. I haven't however tried selecting Cd in the link

Hi Guys When setting up a BeoSound 5 as an audio master and having a BeoCenter 2 or BeoSound 4 as a slave what options do they need to be in and what do you need to tell them that they are slaves? Thanks
