  • Re: Why not to own a Beo5!

I am now a happy man again, and with remote and TV. Thanks to Stuart at B&O Ealing for not only staying after hours to look at it for me, but changing the keypad, bottom connector and programme all under warranty for me. Great service as ever, making the travel worthwhile!

I used to have a Beo4 when I had a BeoVision 6 in my bedroom and I liked it but the problem is she found it too complicated! I also had the bad luck with a glass. I love it for being able to control everything when it has battery but now I have at least a week of not being able to watch TV on my B&O TV. I've just had

  • Re: Connecting non B&O Speakers to B&O TV

Thanks for your reply, I have found the cable that I need on Steve's website so want to order them, but as they are quite expensive I want to make sure that they will be a worthwhile investment and if anyone has any experiences of doing similiar, otherwise I will be wasting £50...

  • Connecting non B&O Speakers to B&O TV

Picture can be seen here of the new BeoLab 12 with BeoVision 10-46. I hope it's a bad picture because they look pretty ugly to me!! http://pic.twitter.com/3vpRfF4s

  • Re: BeoSound 5 CD Rip

If people find this device ugly then I am sure it is just a normal USB laptop CD drive in fancy casing and that it is just the software which will be updated so you could just attach a normal USB CD drive into the BM5 out of sight like I did with my hack...

[quote user="seethroughyou"] fishta, this is amazing stuff. for the less computer literate could you run us through the steps one by one? few Qs.. 1. when you say you installed software; what software and how? Windows Media Player was the software installed, which you can get by googling it on the BeoSound 5 when you are in the service mode
