Hi all, Quick question: does the AUX of BC2500/2300 give you the line level output of whatever function you're using, CD, Radio, tape, so you can connect it to the tape 2 input of for example, beomaster 8000? Thanks!

A fellow member reminded me I never posted the solution to my tuner/radio problem. Resoldering the broken wire on L2 solved the tuning problem, there was nothing wrong with the U264B. It gave the same symptoms as a broken U264B chip. Worth checking out before ordering one!

A fellow member reminded me I never posted the solution to my problem.+ Replacing U264B did nothing, it turned out to be fine. The tuning problem came from inductor L2, near the U264B. One wire was broken off, was real hard to see. When I resoldered the wire the tuner worked again! It gave the same symptoms as a broken U264B chip. Worth checking out

Hi Keith, Just checked with my friend: he says it is indeed connected with a MCL cable. He called B&O and they said he should use a ML cable?
The LCS9000 does not have a Powerlink socket !!
Whoops! Saw what looked like powerlink but that is of course wrong! I saw the masterlink socket was empty so presumed PL was used, but of course I mean the MCL. Thanks for clarifying Keith! No ideas on the source of the BANG anyone?

Hi all, A friend of mine has a LCS 9000, predecessor to the BL3500. It says on the back software version 1.1. It is connected through a powerlink cable to BM7000. When you play a CD on the BG7000 it gives a loud bang through the speakers before starting the music. Anyone heard of this problem before? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

It is not too hard to take it apart and clean it and lube with some sewing machine oil! As long as you remember which part goes where (take pictures?) anyone can desolder it, open it and put it back together again. Otherwise there is probably someone here who can do it for you!

On my (much older of course) Beomaster 8000 this is also the fact: I measured a difference of about 120 V between the ground/earth in my home and the ground of BM8000. There is no voltage to the chassis (aluminium panels) though. I don't know, it might be normal? What is weird is that in BS8 this voltage seems to be on the chassis (at least in your

The arm on my BG8002 also drops very fast, it made me wonder too. But when I look on youtube at the BG8000/BG8002 movies there, they all seem to do it, so probably no problem? I read on beocentral the solenoid for the arm is accurately controlled by the processor, maybe it drops fast and does the last tiny millimeter slowly and controlled, but difficult
