• Re: IS B&O worth the money???

There is no real entry level. Speakers like BL4, BL4000,BL6000 is certainly not worth the money and that leaves BL3 for entry level and they are just to expensive for entry.
Many will disagree with that!! The 6000's and 4000's are favourites and are reasonable entry speakers

Hi all The prices in Sweden seems to have "run away". When I purchased our sound system a couple of years ago, I thought it was very expensive but somehow worth it. Looking at the price tags today, I am quite sure that I would not have bought B&O. The TVs at the time I bought the stereo was not worth considering and still aren´t

  • Re: Beocom 5 quality in general
Actually, you got it right both times - the Beocom5 phone itself is poor, and the speaker is much worse. The 6000 is wonderful - my 10+ year old 6000s are and always have been working perfectly. The 2 looks very smart in the living room, but not ideal for everywhere in the house (eg not great for kitchen or bedroom

  • Re: Beocom 5 quality in general

Hi Ralf and Koning Thank you for your answers. I seem to got it wrong then, it seems to be the phone itself and not the speaker that is bad. I thought it was the opposite. I guess the odds for Beocom 5 does not look good now. The perfect wireless phone would of course come from Apple, so that the contacts were the same as in iPhone. We may however never

Hello I was in a B&O shop yesterday and had the opportunity to see and hold this Beocom 5. I thought that it was a really nice piece. I am looking right now for a new wireless phone. Since we have a B&O system at home, we choose between Beocom 5, Beocom 6000 or Beocom 2. If our eyes would choose, we would buy Beocom 2. However, my dealer who

  • Re: 46-inch BeoVision 10-46 coming
Nobody ever promised "reasonable pricing" - B&O will charge what they believe customers are able and willing to pay. o)
Absolutely correct. If I intended to pay these amounts for a TV, I would expect the TV to be able to tidy our kitchen, bathrooms and the childrens rooms . Good evening Clakke

  • Re: What is stopping you buying B&O?...
Thought I would start this thread as a list of reasons rather than gripes. From my end really four things. 1. High Definition link room distribution, which I hear is on the way or here now. Just no details. 2. Cost of the TV's, which I believe needs adjusting down. 3. A new updated remote control (management system
I hear a lot about BL3's and frankly speaking I might have to find a place for them somewhere - like Peter did(?) :-)
Hi saf Well they are quite small, you should be able to squeeze them in somewhere... Have a nice evening Clakke
Personally, I would not be so harsh on them - if/when combined with a spare BL2. In that case one can be reasonably certain that this combination doesn't sound THAT cheap - at least not in terms of $ :-)
Hello I hope no one is offended. That was not my intention. As I wrote, this is just a personal opinion when

Hi Congratualations. It seems that you picked the same system as I did a year ago. It seems to be typical swedish . Just to be certain, I placed Beolab 3 in the kitchen/dining room as well . I totally agree with you about the 8000, superb sound. It is however possible to get Beolab 3 to sound as good or at least nearly as good as 8000. Some in this
