• Re: THE BEOWORLD PRIZE DRAW - PLEASE READ

I love this site more and more for every day, and almost nothing can make me stop using it - So many kind people dedicated to one brand together in one place, which are sharing experiences, helping and having fun. Lee, if you should dicide to change the draw, that would't be a problem for me either. That you want to keep the monthly draw going is

  • Re: Price increase 1 December
When I discovered B&O in the late 80's, the company was famous for having prices that were not moving during the whole commercial life of a product.. Now it's the other way round
Take a look at the Beolab 2 for example: - Source: Beocentral.Com It costed almost £900 more in 2010 than when

Duncan, you can check if the MX7000 has active speakers by looking at the fret - if it has a horizontal line through it, then it has active speakers.
I'm pretty sure the horizontal line fret you talk about was the MX8000 which superseded the MX7000. Pretty sure all 7000's

  • Re: MX7000 TV
But without the powerfull speakers the MX7000 has built in! AV9000 needs xtra PL speakers for stereo?
That depends on the version of the MX7000 - Earlier models didn't have active speakers. Duncan, you can check if the MX7000 has active speakers by looking at the fret - if it has a horizontal line through

  • Re: MX7000 TV

Hi Duncan Why don't you go for an Beovision AV9000 instead? It's simply just a MX6000/7000 in another design, but IMO a much more beautiful and elegant design! The AV9000 has built in motorised stand, Beocord VX7000 (Don't think your gonna need that, but still! ), Dolby Surround Sound, electric curtains and other options - Take a look here

  • Re: Designer David Lewis has passed away

He is mentioned on the Bang & Olufsen site now. Look here . Really sad that he has passed away, he really knew how to design. I'm sitting and staring at my AV9000 - The most beautiful television ever designed and made IMO. The Beosystem AV9000 is my all time favorite system. Condolences to his family. Rest in peace David! - Dennis

Does anyone know, what these Beolink 7000 Floorstands are worth? Or how much they normally are sold for (When they are in good condition)? - Dennis

  • Re: Parts for update - MPAV

I think you mean these ! The finish isn't quite the same, and the price is... The panel is costing 45£, and I gave 60£ for my MPAV9000 - And either way I don't want to spend 45£ on a little metal panel, then rather look on the tape deck! But thanks anyway, Tony! - Dennis
