• Re: The BeoSound 8 - Live Review!!!
affluent friends who simply DO NOT wish to have hifi systems, speakers everywhere and cables
Well, this is why I wrote that the only scenario where this is a rational purchase for people like me is the summer house where there is no other speaker/amp setup. Likewise, if a young person has no other audio setup
this looks like a great product, and it is very affordable in comparison to a BS1 or a pair of beolabs, while being more portable, and more user friendly for the avereage joe. What's not to like, please can some people stop scutinising, just for once, it's depressing ~~~~
I'm not going to blame B&O
http://www.flatpanelshd.com/news.php?subaction=showfull&id=1289552528
I for one shall welcome the B&O app because: 1. If it brings the same third-party outsource net radios provider B&O already uses for its BeoPlayer software, it is one of the most complete and well curated collections out there

  • Re: External Agency appointed for B&O October product launch
2. B&O make it easier to change and upgrade or supplement the internal modules in their products so that they can be upgraded at not too extortionate costs and customers no longer need worry about paying a premium for a product that will be out of date in no time at all.
Funny. My Beoport with LinkPlayer

  • Re: Beoport and Beolink: I just don't get it!

We've been watching Plex Hulu and Plex Netflix on our 110" projector via Linkplayer for months now. We use a BL 3500 as speaker and ML interface. No IR eye connected to the BeoPort. Just get Linkplayer to use N.RADIO as multimedia gateway. It takes longer to write this post than to set up. Cheers,

  • Re: BeoSound 3200 vs BeoSound 4

Yes. Sorry to say it, but hard disks fail. This is why I looked high and low for our BS 3000 when we needed to upgrade from a BeoCenter 2300. The BS 3000 was discontinued already but after some effort and with patience I found a brand new one.

  • BeoLink thermostat control as shown on bang-olufsen.com

On the right hand side of this page: http://www.bang-olufsen.com/home-integration B&O has posted a youtube video showing their whole house integration product/service. At 21 seconds, the following image is shown: Could someone please identify the thermostat brand. I need to upgrade our existing one, and finding a tasteful one is not as easy as it
Im wondering how long i can go without updating any of my software (i.e itunes, BV8, BM LINK).......
I have a nice working setup with a projector, a 90 inch screen, a Mac Mini, an eyeTV, a BeoPort, and a BeoLab3500, all hooked to the home MasterLink. Guess what: the Mac is set to never update, and Itunes is

  • Re: Beotime Review
When I bought my own Beotime yesterday, however, on the package it was printed "Country of origin: Malaysia"
This is interesting information. Mine came in a brown box and if I recall correctly was shipped from Czechia or Denmark to my U.S. address; as I recounted before, the packaging and device was

  • Re: Beotime Review
It's "Made in China"
Hello, I'm generally pleased with our BeoTime, so that its place of manufacture is objectively irrelevant. Nonetheless, as noted in one of my posts above, the entirety of the user-visible materials that compose it as well as package it are rather vague on the matter
