Greetings gang! I was having an issue with my Beo4 remote not working on my Beosound 9000 MKII while my plasma TV was on. I was informed to install a SW 2.21 upgrade chip...which I did, but I'm still having the exact same problem. Do I need to do something special after the chip installation to make the remote work properly? Was this the right chip

Is the 'chip' you are referring to the SW 2.21 upgrade chip? I installed this chip several days ago (yes, I followed all of the anti-static suggestions), but I don't see any improvement at all. It still won't operate with the plasma TV on. Do I need to do anything special after installing the chip? Any recommendations out there?

Greetings all, I am having the exact same problem with my MKII, and I'm convinced that I need a new CD mech. Are there any resources out there that are less expensive here in the USA (willing to purchase abroad also)? I'm a do-it-yourselfer, so I'm confident that I can do the exchange. Any thoughts out there? Anybody out there with a spare

I have had the glass door off during all of this by the way...doubt if this makes any

I just tried it out by starting on cd #4 on random...it played a couple of songs on #4 cd, then read 'cd#5' (like it was about to move there), but again...it didn't move...stayed where it was for another 20 seconds and shut off again. Strange, Eh?

Sure did. Any other ideas?

I purchased a used 9000 MK1, and here's the problem it's having; I have it mounted vertically (same issue when I had it mounted horizonally also). I turn the unit on...press cd button #1 (starts to play)...hit 'random' button (says 'random on')...and when the song is finished and it starts to switch to a different cd...it travels
