I think this thread is in need of some serious chill! Join me from 6-8pm at www.somervalleyfm.co.uk for 2 hours of relaxing music. Lay back, put your feet up and relax over a nice drink! Hey, if you've got kids then get them ready for my Redcoat Party set just after 7pm! Tune in! Simon.

Oh I see. In that instance I am sure it was quite noticeable. Wish I could have seen it actually. Thanks for the info.

I agree Dave, I like it too. B&O do seem to be a lot safer than they used to, which is mostly boring. I put it down to David Lewis and his age. He's not as risque as he once was and other designers are carefully following in his latter footsteps, for safety measures I guess! Who knows? !!

I am not sure that deteriorates the picture as such, certinaly not on my screen. The image looks just as good. You can set the size to less than the maximum setting but that only works for some channels. It must be on the highest setting to work with all channels. Personally I am really pleased about this because those lines really did bug me a lot

Great news folks! I was playing around with the settings on my BV7-40 (Mark 3) earlier this evening and discovered a new way to 'partially solve' the problem of solid blue lines appearing on some Sky channels. You need to have your TV upgraded to the latest software version, at least up to the first update that incorporated the new black menu
