Seems rather foolish to pay good money far an empty box whether real or fake. I may have to follow this auction to see how it plays out. I have an empty box or two I would like to sell.

My speakers arrived from Texas today and low and behold one of them didnt work and there was something rattling around. The tweeter had had come apart and had pulled the purple wire off the solder stud. Oh woe is me !!! Yet another evilBay speaker purchase gone bad. Makes me want to get out the Tammy Wynette LP's or other hillbillie music and do

Dont be surprised to find crust under some of those grey cans Evan. My "good working" 4000 had a few and my BC 1600 was littered with them all over. They are just as likely to leak on the underside as they are to crack through the bakelite casing and show up on top.

I used these on my Beomaster 2000. Seems to work just fine. the closest in total value and tolerance I could find to match the originals. It is the same value and I wouldnt be surprised if it aint the same wattage.
