  • Re: BeoMaster 3000 Type 2402: Restoration/Repair Help

Hello f_b! Welcome to Beoworld.. I am really excited to hear about your project, the 3000 is a brilliant amp! Not to mention yours is a 3000-2 and a 2402 no less!!! Regarding Martin's cap kit for this unit - it may be unavailable. He was tweaking the comprehensive kit (caps, trimmers, lamps, etc). I ended up using Mouser to source my parts. As far

I think the AKG 701 is brilliant. I auditioned the Q701 which has a bit of what we would call loudness when compared to the standard K701. The Q701 adds an interesting feature over the K701 in the form of removable/interchangeable cable. This is a good feature if you like or need to use different length cables. Hi Søren, I think you should broaden your range a bit since you will be listening to headphones extensively. This is an important part of your new setup. Yes it is, I was just providing a little trivia. Ahhh! yes the panels, my 5000s have binding posts as well. It seems I have more BeoVox with binding posts than DIN2!

The Cona didnt have 2 pin DIN connectors at all, just a bunch of binding terminals. I remember Peter making very good comments on the S22 way back when. These are 'quiet' speakers here on the forum. Would like to hear about these.

  • Re: Beolab 6000 - problem.

B&O only cahrges $120 for the set of 4 woofers. Easiest thing in the world to fix. The hardest part? - getting the fret off. At that price its not even worth your trouble to refoam.
