Hi, before trying link settings etc, did you make the masterlink cable yourself? If so it's very easy for one of the cables to not make a clean connection causing all kinds of issues. Can you try a different masterlink cable? This will ensure that the connection between the two units is not at fault. Regards, Cal

Hi, to get the speaker grills off, slide a credit card between the bottom of the grill and the main part of the black body. Gently twist the card, this will cause the grill to slide upwards, once it's at a certain height it can be pulled off. Regards, Cal

Hi, you're right, the DVD 1 can only be controlled via a B&O TV by a Beo4 remote, Beo 5 and Beo 6 remote. If I were you I'd assign the AV3 port to DVD. This will allow you to press the DVD button on your Beo 4 to take full control over the DVD 1. If you assign V.Mem you will have the same control but you will switch to the DVD player by

Hi Synth, yes the DVD 1 would work fine when connected to your Beovision 8 with a scart lead, however it is important to purchase a good quality 'fully wired' scart. You can simply control your DVD 1 with your beo4 when you press DVD. Regards, Cal

What is plugged into the BV5 when you are watching movies? Is it a DVD 1? Apple TV? Set Top Box?

Hi, you're not using a DVD 1 to watch films are you? If you are then it's a setting in the DVD 1 menu, i think it's called 'Black level shift' set this to off. It's very noticeable on a BV5z Regards, Cal

With the software I have I'm afraid there is no way to select dvi (other than selecting pc on the remote). All other inputs can be assigned.

Thanks Best regards Olivier
Yes, of course.
Raeuber, I am not so sure this is the case on the BeoVision 6. On my BeoVision

Hi, I have tried this unfortunately it is not possible on the version of software I have on my BeoVision 6... unless I am doing something wrong? But I don't believe it is possible to re-assign the DVi port to anything other than 'PC' Regards, Cal
