Hi An old cust of mine has the serene unfortunately he dropped it, now the back casing has been damaged the small plastic screws either side are broken, is it possible to still get a new back cover for these phones, as they have been discontinued for some time now!!

I remember doing this for a customer once the the frame has been removed you remove all the screws surrounding the fret ( there are a few) it should be a case of simply grabbing the top of the fret and you should be able to take it out from there

The beovision 1 as far as I remember is just a simple case of ordering the back cover in your choice of colour remember you will have to order the fret for the speaker grill add well. Regarding the Avant not so easy the DVD version had slot for the DVD, which the VCR version does not also not very easy to change over, you would have to take the chassis

I'm afraid not, the beomaster 5 is the guts of the system without you will just have nice head unit that can't do anything.

All very good, but that's a lot of money your going to have to spend just to get it to work with the iPhone.

Hi I was wanting to connect the above speakers (lab8000) to the beosystem 5500, however It does not seem to have power link, will I have to use the special cables that plug into speaker din sockets, or would you take the opportunity to upgrade the audio system

Normally to switch between tv and projector, with a beo 4 the command is list till format appears then press 0 this should shut down the tv and turn on the projector, you might need to configure the settings for the cinema timings on the beosystem 3. If you have a beo 5 then the command is cinema but this would have to be programmed into the beo 5.

Easing this with interest are moat people on here happy with elyric, reason for asking my freind has a bs5 and I notice he can turn on the server on it but, before he purchases the app just want to be sure, unless b/o are going to launch one shortly, dealer conference is on in the uk at moment!!

Just had a customer have is beosystem 3 to the latest software and all seems fine. I have put his mac mini into the system this is an older mac with 1.83ghz processor and dvi connection problem seems to be resolution I gone into preferences and to display selected 1080p and clicked overscan however I still missing the bar at display bar at the top of
