• Re: New Lighting Solutions

Looks promising Toubro!! Does anyone have any further information about them? Anyone already use them? Do they tick my boxes (especially easy installation)?

Thanks for the tip PhilLondon but I'm more looking for light switches on the walls rather than a dimmer for a table lamp etc Thanks for your help none the less

  • New Lighting Solutions

Hi All, I’m bracing myself for a barrage of’ we’ve been through this 100 times’! However, I was wondering if there have been any developments in the Beo4/A9 controllable lighting solution arena? I’ve ready many threads on the subject, listing all the various solutions out there, e.g. Lutron Rania, JBMedia etc etc. I was

  • Re: Additional Avant Stand

Thanks for your response Peter. I have considered the Struer design furniture but everything looks to be too tall for my needs. I think the BV5 cabinet is the ideal height (although I've only seen it in pictures) since it looks to be about the same as your average STB. I really only need to raise the TV around 6 inches. Either that or I have to

  • Additional Avant Stand

Hi All, I have an Avant in a bedroom at the foot of a fairly tall bed. The problem I have is that the TV is just a few inches too low for me to be able to view when in bed. Given that these TVs are extremely heavy, could anyone suggest a stand of some sort that would give me a few extra inches of height (a little extra storage would be nice too for

  • Re: Please help - Virgin V+ box swtiches itself off using BV7 STB

The Scientific Atlanta box is much much slower to respond than the newer Samsung box (I have had both) Perhaps you could have Virgin replace your V+ box for the Samsung model. The remote commands are the same so your Beovision will still be able to control it not problem.

  • Re: How independant is Beoworld?

Have we sold out for the price of a BV8?!
Please, try and see the bigger picture here - no pun intended. Is that it then, a BV8-40 and we're slaves to B&O.. a bit of a dramatic and sweeping question, but hey - i respect your opinion and will try and answer. For years we

I don't really understand the relevance of who posted the picture - genuine member or not. The fact remains that someone posted a picture that potentially gives us some knowledge we didn't have before. If that ruins an expensive launch party for B&O then tough luck! They can choose which pictures they want on their site but not on anyone

  • Re: Beo5 dead

Don't have an answer for you mate but I feel your pain re the lack of answer from anyone on this forum. As much as I enjoy this forum its always puzzled me why some rather silly topics get masses of attention whereas a politely asked question thats actually about a B&O product (not something that may be coming along, some rant or other, etc

  • Re: New intelligent lightdimmer for B&O remotes

I do unfortunately have one next to my bedside. The noise is becoming increasingly annoying now I know its there if you know what I mean! I was thinking, theres quite a bit of space in there. Can anyone suggest something I could pack in there to reduce the noise - something safe of course. Cheers
