Greetings everyone, Just went through replacing the woofers and midranges I had refoamed with Simply SpeakerS down in Florida. What a great experience, what great service, what a great job and the few times I spoke with anyone there, they were very nice and polite. Yes, I am giving this place a plug, www.SimplySpeakers.com . So nice to have my S120's

Was seriously wondering whether anyone has any experienc with restoring any piece of attica furniture. I have an attica piece that was developed for the Beocenter 9500 which I used to own. I just could not get rid of the piece and although it is not in bad shape, it now displays a Beomaster 8000 with Beogram 8002 in our formal livingroom. I would be

I know for a fact that sometimes the TV end of the power cord does not fit snuggly into the area at the bottom of the Avant where it goes. Try working the cord while someone else keeps an eye on the standby light. If this does it and you see the light come on, just take a sharp knife and trim around the plug then try sticking it in again. I know this

In the early 80's I was visiting my girlfriend at the time in Michigan, her family owned and operated a very successful shoe and womens clothing store in the burbs. Upon my intial visit I had be guided into the livingroom of her home to take a seat on the couch. Sitting there awhile when all of a sudden the sterio in the room just came on. My girlfriend

Would have to say the "bright yellow" catalogue US of the 1980's, just gorgeous photos from the 6500 system down the line....9500 ..4500, Beolab 5000/3000 panel speakers, penta's and RL series, MX/VX 5000/5500, turntables RX and TX, Attica furniture, MCL lighting. This catalogue seem to have it all. But again the gloss photos just

I'm with Jeff hear, either you appreciate the company, its history and products (past, present and future), or you don't. Where as I used to be in a postion to stay up to date with B&O after having seven children my resource are limited, so I just thank God that the equipment I have has and continues to service my family very well. My children

Very interesting threads as a few weeks ago I won an auction for a Beomaster 8000, Beocord 8002 and Beogram 8000, with remote and a pair of S120.2's and pair of S45's. I'm having the surrounds redone for the woofers of the S120's, these speakers are really heavy!!!!!!!! Can not wait to hear them. Someone mentioned that stands might still

Have contacted a speaker rebuild business here in the states and have things underway, thanks Dillon. I removed the woofer from the first speaker this morning, what a beautiful site, the insides were sparkling clean, its going to cost me $35 per surround and although I'd like to give it a try myself I can hardly go wrong with that price. Restored

Can anyone lend some info on Speaker repair. I have a pair of S120's that go with a BeoMaster 8000 system I'm in the process of getting up and running and the woofer surrounds are SHOT and one woofer dome is colapsed. Is there any help in restoring these older speakers, the boxes are still really is great shape. Dave
