Hi Matt, Thanks for the reply. It's the newer (2004) version, therefore has three options. The TV hasn't ever reverted back to this format until recently, and my lad powers the TV up by pressing everything!! I have worked out that if you goto format > 3 > EXIT it seems to power up in the same choice.....14:9 is the "proper" widescreen

My lad keeps changing the "default" screen format somehow, so whenever the TV is turned on the picture is 4:3. It means list>format>3 to get back to widescreen, and I know there is a way of setting it to that. I changed it a few weeks ago but the little blighter has done it again......can you let me know how it's done please folks
