Well, mediabobny was kind enough to send me another remote to try. Same problem with his; It would not work unless I put it directly against the receiver. So I guess it's not the remote. Any Ideas that I might try for the receiver? Thanks for any help...

Beocenter 9300 with beolink 1000. The remote stopped working. After trying everything, taking apart, checking connections, changing batteries of course, no luck. Finally put the remote directly against the receiver on the 9300 and it worked. If I pull it away by an inch it won't work. The question is, is it the remote or the sensor on the 9300?
