    I am using 2 filters which were supplied to me by my broadband provider: http://parts.digikey.com/1/parts/670685-filter-dsl-single-line-phone-z-230tj.html http://parts.digikey.com/1/parts/670684-filter-dsl-sngl-line-excelsus-z-230pj.html Are you suggesting that the phone might function properly with a different filter?

    Hi Keith, Thanks for your response It turns out that it was the DSL filter causing the problem. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/DSL_filter I'll have to do a few tests to see if my internet will hold up without connecting the DSL filters to the phones. Even if it doesn't work for the moment, it's great to know that the phones work!

    Hello, I have two Beocom 2000 units which will not emit a ringing tone. Apart from this, they work just fine. I can dial a number, see the number appear on the LCD, talk and listen to people on the handset, but the unit just does not make any noise when the landline number is phoned.
