Keith Thanks for your help and finally i've managed to get my version number. Screen reads "044-1.30" then a string of long numbers which I imagine to be the serial number at a guess if i'm right ! I guess the 1.30 is the version number ? How do I get this software updated, any ideas ??

just tried 9#9#9* followed by the black dot button but nothing happended no change of screen nothing.
