Kokane81: Have you thought about using a non B&O tv in the kitchen and tuning a channel ie 6 into the link frequency and then every time you switch the 3500 on it will turn the modulator on and bring the picture through to the tv, enabling you to see what your doing while controlling it on the bl3500. Ooo, sounds interesting - tell me more! Sorry

Hi everyone and thank you all for your replies. I have been playing around with a few options; 1) I bought £5 worth of audio leads and plugged them into the 5-pin DIN socket on the back of the BeoSound 3000, then selected A.AUX on the Beo4 and streamed music from the wife's laptop. Hey! It works and she can use the (I think gorgeous) BeoPlayer

Yes, the B&O shop gave me a demo of Kaleidescape which was gorgeous, but my wallet (and my wife) cannot stretch to that at the moment. My wife has the BeoPlayer software on her laptop already, so how does this BeoPort work? At the moment she can play a song from the BeoMedia to the laptop speakers via wireless, but if we could make the music go

Hi timhanna timhanna: Another B&O TV in the kitchen? I know it then defeats the point of the BL3500 Yes, another B&O TV is an obvious choice, but didn't really want to fork out the £3000 and have a TV that is too big (we have a neat 15" at the moment) and make more holes in the wall for the link cable plus wall bracket! timhanna

Hi All This is my first post, so please treat me gently! I would like to make sure that my wife is kept happy with the B&O multimedia setup in our house. We currently have a BeoVision 7-40 and BeoMedia 1 in the lounge which is linked to a BeoSound 3000 and BeoLab 3500 in the kitchen. My wife finds it cumbersome to choose what MP3 she wants to listen
