  • Re: What is your favorite vintage B&O product?

My favorite B&O product is the only one I've had the pleasure of owning the Beocord 9000. Beautiful design and one of the best super decks IMHO. Hi, Thanks to member Dillen this problem has been solved. As a new member of Beoworld I can't tell you how thrilled I am to have my 9000 up and running. My first post gets answered quickly and precisely. What a way to start!

Thank you! Thank you! That was exactly what it was. I was using a DIN connector with a RCA connection at the amp side and had the switch set for DIN level. This has solved my problem. Now to start recording on this great piece of machinery. Thank you Dillen!!!

  • Beocord 9000

I have a Beocord 9000 which in every other regard seems to operate as it should except for whenever I record. Calibration procedures go through fine, playback of any tape not made on the 9000 play fine, but whenever I record every tape is overloaded. The record sliders have to be almost fully down to keep the peaks from always reach the red. Any ideas

  • Beocord 9000 overloads tape whenever recording

My 9000 will not record any type tape without overloading to distortion, any ideas as to why this will happen. Playback is fine with tape made on another machine. Calibration seems to perform properly.
