Thank you for getting back to me. I have checked the remote and that seems to work as you indicated below. I see the flash from remote in camera phone. I have just unplugged from mains - will give that 10 minutes and try again. If that does not work does the replacement you talk about take long? Is it expensive? Does this have be done by a BO specialist

Never had this problem before. Turned tv on and pressed the control for the tv and nothing happened but the standby light is on constantly. Checked batteries in control and all working ok. Don't know what's happened. Can anyone help?

I have a BeoVision 3. Went to turn on yesterday and we can't get it past stanby. The control works ok as the settings appear in control window still. This is really frustrating because you can't switch it on manually either! Please help.
