    I got it! The bearing in the arm froze. it is all repaired and like brand new! Now I just need a pair of circa 1985 B&O Speakers to go with it.

    Thanks for the tip. I tried what you suggested and the arm seems to move freely at that point. I have no clue... maybe the cartridge is busted. I'll most likely look to sell this piece to someone who knows what they are doing, I don't have extra money to pour into getting it repaired.. To say the least it is frustrating. Thank for the help!

  • 1985 BeoCenter 7002 Help! I'm a newbie

    Hello everyone! I recently picked up a BeoCenter 7002 for $65. I'm super excited to get this system up and going but I'm having some trouble with the phonograph portion. Here is what happens: I place a record on the turntable (the transport screws are in "play" mode) I touch play and the arm moves over to the records surface music
