I have to agree. I'm in Southern California but I'll have to keep my eyes open for a pair here to avoid the internatiional shipping costs. Maybe someone who has one will see this posting and let me know. Thanks much for the help. Pete

Hi Peter, Thanks for the response...yes, the stands are T6017 and my speakers are T6312. Based on your previous notes, this is not the designated stand for the my speakers. If you were me would you make these stands work or wait to find the T6013s? Pete

Hi, I recently purchased a nice pair of S45-2 speakers and need to buy a pair of stands for them. I have an opportunity to purchase a nice pair that the seller says will work with the S45 speakers but I have heard that these might not work with the S45-2's. The product number on the speakers is 6017. Any advice will be appreciated. Pete

Thanks Bob, that explains a lot. As for the improved CD mechanism you refer to, am I correct that it was the mechanism with the vertical tracking lens versus the arc tracking lens of the 2500? An if so, do you know if they made any 2500's with the new vertical tracking lens? Pete

Can anyone help me learn more about the Beosound 4000. I have an opportunity to pick one up from a family member for a good price, I think but I know little about the unit and can find very little on line including at this site. I also checked on Beocentral and the official Bang & Olufsen Website. I would like to know how long it was in production
