I too have been having trouble getting a remote to work with my beosystem 7000. I have a beolink 1000 but cant seem to get it to do simple things like power on and off and to raise and lower volume on my system. I'm lucky enough to have the cylindrical speakers to go with the system but cant fully enjoy it because I cant change the volume. Any assistance
