  • Beogram 1000 bearing removal

Hi! I just acquired a Beogram 1000 that has been sitting in storage for 20 years. Naturally the motor has seized up and from other threads I learned that the bearings need to be cleaned and soaked in hot oil. The bottom bearing is easy to remove, but how is the top bearing removed? It is the round motor version. VR

  • Re: Beovox S45 loose bass magnet

Yes, it seems to be impossible to glue the magnet from the back. Since the woofer is practically scrap I think I will try to remove the cone/spider/coil assembly and see if it could be done using some kind of spacers inserted from the front to align the core correctly. As this will propably fail I need to place a wanted ad for the woofer or single speaker

  • Beovox S45 loose bass magnet

Hello, I have a Beovox S45 speaker where the bass driver magnet has broken off. I there any way to glue it back on? Or is driver replacement the only option? VR
