Can anyone recommend me a good record cleaner that will no build up debri on the stylus?

i was closely inspecting the counter weight dial on the back of the tone arm and it seemed a little bent. [the back of the tone arm that is.] i was able to disconnect the the dial from the tone arm and then put it back. what i am asking is, it doesnt seem to effect the performance of the records playing as of yet, but is this normal wear and tear? is
