Hello, I need help to figure out why the Beomaster 5000 won't respond at all to any B&O remote. I one the Beolink 1000. I borrowed a new remote from a retailer. Nothing. I asked B&O for a schematic or service manual for my B&O Beomaster 5000 receiver and again for the Beolink 1000, but I am not expecting anything, so I hope someone here

I now have the BeoLink 1000 and Beo4. These helped me to get a gifted Beomaster 7000 to work, but I have very limited functions available with this unit. I can scroll through the radio presets, change sources & volume, and power on/off.... I can't seek/scan FM or change to AM. There are also some (4) LEDs that never work. The "Timer Off"

I tried the all 4 speaker connections and the headphones. All met with the same result - very little volume, but the loudness and tone controls are obviously functioning properly. Heat sinks are warm... I am unable to seek/scan the radio stations or switch from AM to FM. I can use the preset stations. Finally, I cannot get the radio stations or "Mute"

I got the Beolink 1000 remote, and I became dissatisfied with the performance of my Beomaster 7000. I took it to a friend to determine why I can't seek/scan radio stations, and more importantly, the unit seems to be perpetually in the "mute" status. I may have to take this into the shop. I can hear the music if the volume is turn nearly

In my home, with high schoolers and spaniel dogs, I ofter find my remotes lost in/under the sofa. I'll choose the rugged Beolink 1000. Thanks. Brian

Hi, I just inherited the Beomaster & Beocord 7000. I did not however receiver the paperwork and remote. It seems the remote is quite necessary to operate the Beomaster :(. The Beomaster powers up just fine as the relays engage, however the cooling fan does not operate and I can not switch among the sources, adjust the volume, tones, etc. No Music
