Swiss 2 & jk 1002 thanks for your time. On balance I think we will give the BV8 a miss. An awful lot of money for someone her seventies who just wants a TV in the corner of the room with no intention of going high tech throughout the house What particulart attracted her was the screen brightness/contrast adjusting with the ambient light as her lounge

Hi, please be gentle - my first post. My mother is thinking of buying the Beovision 8 for the princely sum of £2000, that's £500 off for part exchaging her old B&O set. I will add that it would be used as a stand alone item rather than be part of a system. As other manufacturers sell 32" LCD's for around £600 can someone
