I got nothing out of fm then again there was no antenna either. I've found a guy here localy that deals in vintage amps like this to check it out. Then again dout hes ever done a B&O. Tonight Im going to hook up the tape deck and see what happens.

As far as I know thats all that is wrong, but now Im wondering if its from the phono not working going to hook up tape player put it all back to gether and just trouble shoot before I take the 2400 to get fixed. I thought I had read in one of the tech furoms that the light bulbs themselves if blow will keep the volume from working. After chatting with

Just wonted to thank yall for the help. Im now looking for a remote some speakers and someone to look at the amp for me. Im ok with electronics, but not worty of tackling this afraid I will do more damage than good. Going to get the bulbs and try that after that going to have to take it to someone who can fix it with the manuel. Well guess Im going

Well got it apart and sure enought there are the bulbs blown so no to order me some.

burantek: jonathan, what part of the states are you in? re: the volume lights -it is prob exactly that. the tiny light kernels are prone to failure. i am surprised that all the other ones work. if you decide to replace them, i would suggest replacing all of them. member: dillen -has a light kit available for these of the correct type. Im in south east

Thank you all for the speaker help. Now I've got to track some down. I have to admitt the area I live in will not have any Im sure so going to have to search the good old net or ebay. If anyone knows some US sorces I would be gratefull. I got the wires in the correct space but the volume still doesn't light up so going to have to take it apart

The speakers I have now are just for test I wonted to get the system all setup and working before I bought any speakers. The ones I have are not worth using for quality. Are 45's B&O's?

Thanks Peter love the setup. Just wish I had the speakers with connectors, antenna, and the remote then again the price was right.

joeyboygolf: Hi Jonathan, Welcome to BeoWorld. Which wires did you just push into the holes? Thank you, And I found the connectors online now..... After looking at the connectors I had it all wrong. So need to find some connectors this is all new to me so learning step by step. Cant wait to get this going I cant get the volume to light up all the others

Hi my name is Jonathan. Just got my first setup it was givin to me by a buddie who just had it laying arond. Its a Beogram 4004, with a 2400 beomaster amp controll center, and tape player. The rosewood is not in the best of condition, but it looks good enought for me. Trying to hook it all up, and this is all new to me. I've got it all hooked up
