    Hi thanks for all the help so far. The machine is now working and the motor rumble is cured. However. there is a persistant regular pulsed interference that come through both speakers . It only comes through when it is in play mode so that the motor is turning , but does it even if there is no tape in the machine. It gets louder and more persistant

  • Beocord 2000 noisy motor.

    Finally got the Beocord 200 running. ThanksMartin for the small belt. Unfortunately the drive motor sounds pretty noisy , a bit of a rumble and there is a rhythmic interference type crackle that comes through the speakers which seems to be to a similar beat as the motor noise. This is a unit that has probably had less than 10 hours use since it was

    Is that the smallest of the three, I was told it was for a counter that was not needed and BO could not provide one so it is not fitted, where can I get on from? Thanks for the info. Pat

    I have just inherited a Band O sound set up . It has hadly been used and dates back to the 1980,s Th beocord 200 cassette player did not work so I have stripped it and replaced the belts. Unfortunately when you press play , forward or reverse , the solenoid clicks in and the clicks straight out again. On the Beogram amplifyer and tuner the touch sensitive
