    Thanks Graham. Just turned it on again, and Mute Relay is giving the correct sounding audible clicks when pressed, but i'm presently using the RCA leads, where, according to the manual the Mute will have no effect. Is there any benefit in using the DIN leads (apart from the display), over using the DIN leads?

    Hi, Theres 4 DIN speaker sockets on the back of my unit. 2 of them have 3 "holes" to take the lead, the other 2 have 4 "holes" to take the leads. I am using leads that go in the 4 hole sockets, but I can't see any difference in them?

    Thanks Peter! Thanks very much for taking the time to reply. 1) I rang the former owner and I now have the manual. I have connected speakers up as you suggested and they are working perfectly. Connected them via spring termanials to a Rotel RA-812 and ran them for hours with no problem whatsoever. Tried them with RCA Leads from Beocenter and once again

    Happened to be in the right place at the right time and picked up a Beocenter 9000 with pair of Penta 6605 speakers and a 3300 Beogram all with a superb white B&O Stand. There are just a few questions and observations I have and hopefully someone here will be kind enough to to help me out. 1) Sound is superb when I use RCA Speaker cables from the
